Nasal Airway Assessments

Our Subspecialty Rhinologists perform full functional nasal assessments

looking at External and Internal Nasal valve function, Septal anatomy, turbinate congestion and response to decongestants and nasal and sinus pathology all with high definition Video Endoscopy which is recorded and available to the patients and for future comparisons.

Onsite microbiology swabs, histopathology biopsies and minor nasal procedures can be performed.

Peak Nasal Inspiratory Flow is measured and if required onsite iCAT (low dose) CT sinus is available for immediate diagnostic purposes. Antigen Skin Prick testing for inhalant allergies is also available.

A full nose lab is under construction where further airway assessments including acoustic rhinometry, rhinometry, respiratory function testing, olfactory (smell) assessments will be performed.
